This position reports to

Local Division Controller Traction Switzerland

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the business controlling team in Turgi, Aargau, Switzerland. Main stakeholders are Motion division.

You will be mainly accountable for:
• You support the business controlling team with various tasks relating to the business controlling function such as monthly closing, reporting and ad hoc analysis
• Based on your profile and performance you can take on more comprehensive areas of responsibilities to for example support department heads in their planning and business controls related topics
• You run various continuous improvement projects with focus on digitalization and automation

Qualifications for the role

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or Engineering studies
  • You are at ease communicating in English and German
  • Experience with Office package or other IT tools are favorable
  • Familiarity with SAP, specifically the FI-CO modules, is a plus
  • You enjoy working with people and have strong communication skills
  • You hold a current valid VISA/work permit for Switzerland or a confirmation for a mandatory internship from your university
