Local Business Manager Electrification Switzerland

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the business in first line on all HR operational levels as well as develop and implement people strategy for Switzerland through the execution of HR processes. Each day, you will provide HR support for a defined team or location, by partnering with respective managers. You will also showcase your expertise by representing HR in the business and establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees.
The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Electrification business area in Switzerland. Main stakeholders are employees, managers, Global HR Business Partners, and the local HR community. In the dedicated business area of the local Market organization, you will be the responsible HR Business Partner for departments such as Sales, Marketing, Service, Engineering, Project Management, Support function and Commercial operations, resulting in an organization of approximately 300 people.
You will be mainly accountable for:
•Ensuring an effective overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with the functions and Shared Services.
•Supporting and advice line management and employees in all aspects of HR, labor law and policies and ensure effective communication, engagement, and collaboration across the organization.
•Execution of HR processes involved across the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
•Partnering with respective managers to develop and implement people initiatives.
•Facilitating change management initiatives and driving behavior change & continuous improvement across the respective business area / area of responsibility.
•Conceptualize and implement local people development and capability initiatives tailored to department needs.
•Representing HR in the business and establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees.

Qualifications for the role

  • You enjoy working with diverse tool landscape, Workday experience is considered a plus
  • Sound knowledge of Swiss labor law
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in stakeholder management and conceptual thinking
  • Passion for conveying ideas in a proactive communication style
  • Persuasion across stakeholders combined with a self-driven and solution-oriented approach
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Degree in HR or similar as well as proven experience in managing HR processes and advising in the role as HR Business Partner (+4 years)
  • You are at ease communicating in German and English, French (min. B2 level)
