Your tasks
Are you looking for an exciting PhD position in the field of economics? At the chair of Prof. Reto Föllmi we conduct high quality research on the issues of international trade, macroeconomics, distribution and economic growth. You will be integrated in a young and strongly research oriented team while writing your PhD thesis. You will contribute to the research and teaching activities of the chair.
Your profile
We are looking for applicants with a(n):
- excellent Master's degree in economics (or close to completion)
- solid background in mathematics and empirical research
- enthusiastic interest in economics
- proficiency in written and spoken English
- at best, solid knowledge of the German language (not a mandatory requirement)
The chair for International Economics at the SIAW has expertise in international trade, macroeconomics, distribution and economic growth. The research of Prof. Föllmi and other institute members is regularly published in leading economic journals.
