Manager Product Field Performance
In this role, you will provide advancedtechnical supportfor ABB'smedium voltage drives, playing a key part in our global service network. Based in Turgi, Switzerland, you'll apply your skills to optimize and maintain drives used forprocess controlandenergy savings. As a technical specialist, you'll collaborate with peers across development and service, converting learnings into sustainable improvements. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Managing resolution of complex service cases onsite (hands-on) and bringing back learnings for continuous product improvement
- Taking the leading role to exceed the expected field performance of an evolving product
- Providingtechnical guidanceto other support levels and ensuringthe know-how transferbetween service and support functions. •
- Establishing and guiding cross functional resolution expert teams and making sure that lessons learnt are shared within the organization
- Contributing to the continuous development of our business, by driving product improvements based on field learnings.
- Contribution to our 24/7 service support availability
Qualifications for the role:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification
- No previous work experience is required; candidates should meet the education requirements and demonstrate the relevant skills. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Open-minded and flexible, with availability for global travel on demand and field interventions
- Structured and methodical approach to work
- Strong motivation to learn and develop
- Ability to drive innovation and product improvement
- Solution-oriented mindset, with the flexibility and creativity to explore different approaches
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
