Your tasks
- to conduct research and publish in top-tier journals in the areas of organizational behavior (OB), psychology, management, and/or economics, with a focus on leadership, gender & diversity, and the future of work
- to assist with outreach and dissemination activities such as presentations for practitioners and scholars, writing applied/practitioner articles
- complete a PhD at an internationally renowned university with social & economic significance
- work with leading scholars through collaborative research projects and be part of a dynamic team
- develop a broad skill set and partake in extensive career and personal development
Your profile
- an excellent Master's degree or equivalent in psychology, OB, or neighboring fields
- excellent oral and written English, as evidenced for non-native speakers in relevant test scores (e.g., TOEFL), stays abroad, and/or a thesis in English
- a very good understanding of quantitative methods, including study design, statistical analyses, and relevant software packages (e.g., R, Mplus, Stata, and/or SPSS)
- good technical skills, including command of Microsoft office software; coding skills a plus
- strong interest in research, ideally including relevant experience (e.g., research assistant experience)
- curiosity, disciplined, self-reliant, ambitious, creative
The Competence Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) is part of the Research Institute for International Management at the University of St. Gallen (FIM-HSG). Our centre conducts cutting-edge research on diversity and inclusion (D&I) and provides guidance and training to companies on how to promote and manage D&I in their organizations. The funding for this specific position comes from a Swiss National Science Foundation PRIMA award to the Principle Investigator, Dr. Jamie L. Gloor, to study non-traditional paths to non-traditional leadership.
It is also possible to cowork in Zurich.
