Your role and responsibilities

Working in the Energy Industries division, based in eastern Europe, optionally worldwide, you will be cooperating with international teams to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction in our worldwide applied solutions for electrical power generation. Reporting to the Head ofProduct Support, you will perform various product and life cycle activities to assist in the development, launch, maintenance, andprofitabilityof UNITROL, MEGATROL and SYNCHROTACT products.

The work model for the role is: hybrid (ideally within presence of current business locations )

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Technical supportfor ABB experts worldwide, ABB business partners and End customers withSalesforceas the CRM (Customer relationship management) platform and participation in ensuring 24/7 availability of remote support line
• Leading resolution teams and handling customer communicationfor support cases where different stakeholders (e.g., System experts,R&D, Quality etc.) build a resolution team according to severity,complexity, and urgency
• Leading and support with type test activities, component specifications, life cycle solutions andproduct engineeringetc.
• Supporting customers with grid code compliance studies (e.g. Power Factory, PSS/E, PSCAD) and digital transformation (e.g. cyber security, digital twin). Training and onboarding support can be offered in this matter.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor or master's inelectrical engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in field service or engineering withPower Generation Systemknow how,Embedded SoftwareandControl HardwareplusPower Electronics(Experience withexcitation systemsis preferred)
• Specific experience in grid code compliance studies is preferred
• Fluency inEnglish, any other languages are an asset
• Proactive attitude to drive innovation and improvement
• Provenorganizational skillswith the ability tohandle multiple projectssimultaneously
• High sense of responsibility andcommitment
• High degree ofintercultural awareness
