As Projects, Policy & Risk Specialist you are a core member of the HR Operations team in Switzerland. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring proper HR data protection and risk management. Further you will also be key in supporting the local HR Operations Management in providing efficient, effective, and professional HR Services to our employees, line managers and the organization. Your responsibilities
 

  • Contributing and leading projects of different size and complexity within HR Operations Switzerland to improve our HR processes and the delivery of HR Services to the Business, our Line Managers and Employees
  • Contributing and managing local project activities related to Merger & Acquisition projects (i.e. integrations, divestments, etc.) from HR Operations perspective
  • Ensuring effective and efficient performance of our HR Risk Management responsibilities and be the expert for Risk and Internal Control Management in our team
  • Taking on the role as GDPR Champion and help us to ensure that our HR processes and data management complies with current data protection laws and regulations
  • Taking ownership for and maintain some of our local HR policies and ensure they keep up with the constant changes in our HR processes as well as laws and regulations
  • Being the HR communications expert in our team and ensure professional and timely communication of HR process and policy changes to our employees and line managers
  • Being in the driver seat to oversee, strengthen and improve our HR process knowledge and documentations (e.g. manage SOP inventory, improve SOP lifecycle management, enforcing SOP quality standards and writing SOPs)
  • Providing support in keeping our various HR contents (particularly HR Portal and HR leaflets) updated
  • Providing support in managing our performance by monitoring, analyzing, and communicating KPIs to our team members, team leaders and other stakeholders (e.g. HR Leadership Team, Local GBS Board or Business Leaders)
  • Providing business support to the HR Operations Management in Switzerland by taking care of administrative, organizational, and coordinative tasks
  • Taking care of selected operational tasks and processes to support the day-to-day operational business, if needed
  • Joining us on our adventures HR Transformation Program journey to implement Workday as our new global HR core system and bring our HR processes and systems landscape to the next level

Your background
 

  • Bachelor's degree in a business discipline (BWL) or in Human Resources (HR) management
  • Professional background in HR with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role in HR
  • Proven track record and experience in a project management or process improvement role
  • Good level of knowledge in Swiss rules and regulations in HR disciplines (e.g. employment law, social security, etc.)
  • Connected thinking, strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Flexible personality with a very strong service, customer, and result-orientation
  • Structured and efficient way of working and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and good level of knowledge in Workday and/or SAP HCM is a strong plus
  • Proficiency in usage of all kinds of MS Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, Teams, OneNote, etc.)
  • Very good written and spoken skills in German and English are a must
